Originally from Whistler, Canada, Steve Fox has lived in Cuenca, Ecuador for over a decade. His passion for Ecuadorian fine cacao led him to create SISA Chocolates, a small-batch artisan chocolate maker focused on showcasing the diversity and exceptional quality of Ecuadorian cacao.

SISA works with premium single-origin and organic cacao sourced from different regions of Ecuador, crafting fine dark chocolate in small batches with carefully selected ingredients and a focus on authentic flavor and craftsmanship.

Amilcar Electrotech is a specialized automotive service in Cuenca, Ecuador, focused on high-precision electronic diagnostics and on-site electrical system repairs.

Unlike a conventional repair shop, we combine advanced equipment, including oscilloscopes, CAN Bus signal analysis, and multi-brand diagnostic scanners with strong technical expertise to identify and resolve complex faults, starting problems, parasitic battery drains, and electronic module issues directly at your vehicle’s location.

BIE — Business Intelligence Enhancer is the business intelligence, branding and technology team behind Tasting Ecuador. They designed, built and maintain this bilingual website: meal prep orders that go straight into our system, the ebook with online payment and instant delivery, class registrations, private chef requests, verified reviews and the magazine we edit from our own dashboard.

They also built Tasting OS, the custom system we use to run sales, expenses, cash, customers, classes and kitchen production, and that automates our weekly menu proposal based on our recipes and on what you order most. It also measures where every order comes from, so we invest where it really works.
